1. Introduction
Welcome to Takeover! These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of merchandise at our events and through any associated online platforms. By purchasing our merchandise, you agree to abide by these terms.
2. General Conditions
- Merchandise is sold on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability.
- Prices are listed in the applicable currency and include all applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice.
- All sales are final unless stated otherwise in the Refund & Exchange Policy below.
3. Payment Methods
- We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other digital payment methods as specified at the point of sale.
- Online transactions are processed securely, and we do not store payment details.
4. Refund & Exchange Policy
- Refunds and exchanges are only accepted for defective or incorrect items.
- Requests for refunds/exchanges must be made within 14 days of purchase, with proof of purchase required.
- Merchandise must be unused and in original condition for an exchange or refund to be processed.
- We do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect size selection.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping and service costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
- Takeover undertakes to do its best to supply performant services in due time in accordance with the agreed timeframes. However, none of its obligations can be considered as being an obligation to achieve results. Takeover cannot under any circumstances, be required by the client to appear as a third party in the context of any claim for damages filed against the client by an end consumer.
5. Shipping & Delivery (If Applicable)
- If merchandise is sold online, shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout.
- We are not responsible for delays due to courier services or customs clearance processes.
- International buyers may be subject to additional customs duties or taxes, which are the buyer's responsibility.
- Certain countries apply withholding at source on the amount of invoices, in accordance with their internal legislation. Any withholding at source will be paid by the client to the tax authorities. Under no circumstances can Takeover become involved in costs related to a country's legislation. The amount of the invoice will therefore be due to Takeover in its entirety and does not include any costs relating to the legislation of the country in which the client is located.
6. Event Collection & Pre-Orders
- Pre-ordered merchandise must be collected at the designated pick-up point during the event.
- Customers must present a valid ID or confirmation email for collection.
- Unclaimed pre-orders after the event are non-refundable.
7. Liability
- We are not liable for any damage, loss, or theft of purchased merchandise after the point of sale.
- Any misuse or alteration of merchandise voids any warranty or claim for refund/exchange.
8. Intellectual Property
- All designs, logos, and branding associated with Detroit Takeover, or Takeover merchandise are the property of Takeover and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
9. Amendments & Changes
- We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via our official channels.
